SA and Nigeria have different history. SA has been developing even before Nigeria gained her independence. SA has been d largest economy for over a hundred years in d continent.

SA was among the nations that formed UN in 1945 or so and also among the first nations that went for Olympics, in 1904, just after 2 tournaments ( where were d remaining African nations then?).That's to show u how far SA has been in d comity of nations. While NY had skyscraper boom in the 1930s, jobourg had its own in the 1980s. And it's only when an economy is booming at an astronomical rate does skyscraper boom happens in a nation.
