INFORMATION ON THE CLOSURE OF STUDENTS’
HOSTELS IN 2016/2017 ACADEMIC SESSION

The Kwara State Polytechnic Authority wishes to inform
returning and prospective students of the institution,
Parents/Guardians and the general public that due to
the poor conditions of the hostels, there is an urgent
need to carry out a renovation on them. The present
conditions of the hostels make them unsafe for students to be accommodated in them any longer without complete overhaul of the entire facilities.

Consequently, the Polytechnic Authority has obtained
the approval of the government to put the necessary
machinery in place to carry out the renovation work.
This will commence as soon as arrangement are
concluded with those to do the job through the Public
Private Partnership (PPP).

In the light of the foregoing, all Stakeholders and the
general public are hereby informed that no Polytechnics Students will be accommodated in the hostels during 2016/2017 academic session.

The Management wishes to express its apology for the
inconveniences this development might cause all those
affected.
