In the world of entertainment, multitasking is sure allowed…Many of our Nollywood folks in time past have made several attempts to prove to fans that they could also fare well in music asides acting they are known for… While many of these old thespians received backlash for their songs, some new crop of actors decided to prove to the world again that they could sing better than a Nightingale.

In our own order, here are some new generation acts of Nollywood that have tried giving a music career a big push.


1. Gabriel Afolayan.

Popular for his talent and also being a member of the gifted Afolayan dynasty, Gabriel’s efforts in music have been unwaning.

Going by the stage name G-Fresh, the Theatre Arts Graduate of the University of Ibadan has over 10 songs to his credit.

In 2010, he released his debut Kokoro Ife which got fans and critics amazed at his great vocal dexterity.

Since then, he has released several singles and music videos which have all enjoyed massive airplay and downloads.
