I don't think Ekiti state are in need of projects like this. But I also think the Gov knows the best. Moreover, the airport he is building is a very good initiative. Any city/state that wants foreign investors in their state need stuffs like that.

Needless to talk about Ijebu Ode flyover and its uselessness. What about the flyover leading to Oyo state government Secretariat? Even, Mokola bridge in Ibadan is underutilised. The cocoa house built by Awolowo is not fully occupied up to this moment and the same is of Agbowo shopping complex in front of University of Ibadan that is being wasted away. Politicians always look for monumental projects that they can point to later in future not minding whether such projects meet the aspirations of the people the are governed at that moment.

I can't wait for 2018 for this curse to leave the state for good

What's the new craze by governors to do flyovers?
You don't just build for the sake of flyover building. Flyovers are built as a necessity. It must be seen to connect two roads over a body of water or to connect two roads without disturbing the existing roads connected beneath it. Reminds me of how the Ogun state govt wasted millions to build a bridge where a roundabout and intersection would have sufficed.

All these osu products on Nairaland. The project it's aiming for the future. I f previous leaders have been this visionary there won't be need for unneccesssry pulling down of properties all in the name of expanding roads. That is exactly what happens in EDO State Debate.....with blunders from APC flag-bearer any sane man can not cast their vote to that Obaseki of a person yet CHANNEL'S adjudge him to be the best.....wonders shall never end because from all indications and their individual presentations from the four debaters Ize Iyamu stands out .....so eloquent, coordinated and sound minded with simple agenda...not bogus one that can not guaranteed the citizens employment and better life....is high time we let the vote counts through voters education..........and much better lesson should be learned from INEC and PMB as a case study......inability to attend debate to showcase his administration goals and objectives.....and also his inability to present his basic academic requirements as a yard stick for sound mindedness

Something to cheer about from ekiti at last. Any Governor improving infrastructure should be commended. The fly over bridge may not look viable for now but Ado ekiti being a state capital will continue to expand and surely there will need for structure like this.
