BOI YES Programme Cohort-2 Online Training - My Experience Thus Far by RuddyFusion(m): 12:16pm On Sep 07, 2016
Few days before the commencement of the online training, i read couple of trends here with people asking sarcastically what the 3 months training was all about and why they should pass them/the candidates through it before given them the money (loan rather)....As for me as a person, i took notice of their words, that the training will be 'mentally challenging' so i looked forward to it as i have no issue with internet or power (to an extent to follow up any online training)...

Now exactly 9 Days Gone What’s my experience?

1) Its one week plus 2 days now and me and others have been treated to top quality training/materials that can only do one thing 'Change your life"...."Your thinking" and your approach to life...of course just like anything else, there was initial challenge with their buddy system, but that was quickly sorted

2) In this one week plus two days we have gone through 2 courses One on 'Setting goals for success' and the other on 'Personal productivity' and anchored on AMI(Africa Management Initiative) platform, a platform used by top managers around the world with courses and run by many prestigious top business schools in the continent some of which includes Gordon Institute of Business Science University of Pretoria and Lagos Business School

3) For example in the 'Setting goals for success' course, we have leant things like 'How to proper defined/set both our career and organization goals/mission statement. WE have further leant how to define the things we are responsible for and state clearly the outcome we expect from those. Furthermore to this is ‘How to put down smart goals’ based on the objectives we have earlier set for ourselves both in our career and business life and breaking down these goals into achievable chucks.

4) Following to this is the ‘Personal Productivity course which is a step further to the first course and focuses on how to properly manage your time, resources and responsibilities. Making sure you don’t just only hold yourself accountable for your responsibilities but you have an accountability partner that holds you responsible in ensuring that your set tasks are result oriented and are done within the defined timelines and resources assigned for them.

Its barely 9 days into the three months training and what I have seen plus what others are confessing is something really great..something to thank the BOI crew for…

If you have a business plan and weren’t serious with it, you don’t have an option but to follow it up and action what you’re learning…and if you have an already existing business and you’re part of this program, your business wouldn’t have an option but to pick up.
