Why are they celebrating, Tunisia won their game away to kenya, and we can only qualify if mozambique can beat tunisia

And we must win at Nairobi. lol @ our qualification

Even if we qualify for world cup,na this kind rubbish we  wan go play for south africa?no creativity at all, All the players and coaches should be disbanded and an ADVERT placed in GUARDIAN to recruit new players.

ummh.thank God we scored.i hope wednesdays matches go our way but its still a long shot to south africa.

a little comic relief. i know why the eagles( a.k.a super chickens) left it late .the y learnt from tunisia experience that when theyt score early they always equalise so they left it late (agonisingly late) and now scored.
honestly i think  Amodu should be fired. super eagles overhauled. all the best nigeria

No sorry, The gameplan was for Naija to score late, since they aren't good at keeping leads
@ ANABEL, I'M NOT WATCHING THE MATCH.I JUST THOUGHT IT WAS A NORMAL THING FOR OUR OPPONENTS TO EQUALIZE.

Can't believe these guys were celebrating instead of picking up the ball from the net and trying to score another goal.
side note: Enaramo needs to drop the # 10 on his back. he does not deserve to be on this team. Less than average player.
-Ode: Fantastic performance again. Its a pleasure seeing this guy in the green and white jersey.
-Martins: Showed flashes of inspiration and added peep to the team when he came on.
-Yakubu: I don't know why Amodu started you having just returned from injury. Unwise on the part of the coach.
-Enyeama: Average performance. Held his own though and managed to keep a clean sheet.
-Nsofor: Kept a cool head in front of goal. Potential still needs to become more of a product though.
-Ayila: Average performance from a good midfielder. More needs to come out from him in this national team. We know how well he performs on the club level.
-Yobo: Needs to emphasize his presence more in a game. Defense seemed lost on counter attacks. Gosh, be more Mr. Captain and lead this team.
-Olofinjana: Needs to improve on his pace. Can't play every game like it's going to be decided on possession. Through ball lacking to final half of field.
-Ajilore: Average perforemance. Good shot on goal though in 1st half. Faded after that attempt on goal. National team deserves more from you.
-Shitu: Good covering in the last few minutes. Need to show more presence attacking dead balls/free kicks. You are a big guy and we know what you can do.
-Nwaneri: Good option to Taiwo giving his inability to stay concentrated for 90mins. Need to be more of a attacking wing back providing options for midfield.

Mahal made the comment below at 6.42 PM before Nigeria scored. How prophetic.

SE shouldn't score now, they should score at the last minute of extra time so that the mozambiquans wont have time to level up.

Sorry, you must be talking from your arse. No disrespect intended. But you must surely be talking from your arse.

You need a win, you struggle to score for 93 mins and after you score and are close to your win, you are saying they should be trying to score another goal instead of just defending for 1 min and finishing the job?

You must be talking from your bleeping arse.

And these are the bunch that would be condemning Amodu and the players when they do not know jackshit about football.
