Hausa/Fulani leaders in Abia state, today September 9, met with Abia community leaders to sign peace agreement in a bid to prevent clashes between farmers and herdsmen. NAIJ reports shows that the agreement was initiated by the state government, the police and leaders of various communities in Abia. In his speach, the state commissioner for Police and also the Chairman of the committee, Adeleye Oyebade, commended the move and urge both parties to obey the resolution reached. if this one happens in imo state, make I chop ofe akwu 2moro!!!! Rochas would rather encourage Fulani marauders to decimate imolites, than push for a peace pact, or regulate and restrict cattle grazing!!! |
