A lawyer to the Leader of Indigenous People Of Biafra, IPOB, Barr. Ifeanyi Ejofor has raised alarm over what he termed 'threats to the of his client'.

IPOB leader, Mazi Nnamdi Kanu has being in detention for over one year for alleged offence bothering on treason.

Speaking with journalists, Ejiofor said that some tear gas canisters and bullets were recovered from Kanu's prison room after a riot that broke out in the prison on Monday, August 29.

He also disclosed the pictures of the bullets and tear gas canisters to the newsmen, expressing fear that his clients life is no longer safe in the prison facilities.
