Current Recession Is Due To Pipelines Vandalization, Corruption - Osinbajo by johnpaulinweb: 7:35am On Sep 12, 2016 |
Nigeria's Vice President, Professor Yemi Osinbajo, on Sunday, said that county's current economic recession is caused due to vandalisation of pipelines in the Niger Delta. Osinbanjo, who spoke with journalists after a Church programme in Abeokuta, Ogun State, however expressed optimism that Nigeria would overcome the current challenges. "One of the key reasons why we are in recession is the fact that we lost about 60 per cent of our revenue due to the vandalisation of the pipelines on the Niger/Delta and we lost almost 40 per cent of the gas. Once we are able to resolve that, we would at least be able to earn more revenue,” Source: http://www.thegistbaze.com/2016/09/current-recession-is-due-to-pipelines.html?m=1 |
