we are not only on recession, recession alone don't causes inflation. in fact recession causes prices of goods and services to come down and not the other way. when there is low or no patronage then goods and services are forced to bring prices down. just like what is happening in the telecom industry today. what Nigeria is facing currently is episodes of several economic plagues which many don't know yet in this buharism government. if you study about inflation and recession you will agree with me that it's mainly on bad policy and vision less government. the government is clueless and have no clue on what to do. 1 Like |

people just don't want to admit that this regime has made some delayed, wrong, ill-timed & whacked decisions. an economy enters recession & the government is constricting the flow of funds, increasing taxes, enforcing new taxes, alienating the bread basket. by 2019, their major achievements will be halting BH (an applaudable achievement which is being dampened by the herdsmen menace) & embarrassing GEJ (which he will thoroughly deserve for turning a blind eye to various depraved acts of corruption under his watch). |
