Recession didn't start with Buhari. There had been signs not yielded to by the one before him. Therefore, his government isn't solely to be blamed.

Very true

Sold crude at $120 avg , instead of building or repairing refineries, they chose to give licenses out to friends and family to import and export crude

Before Jonathan's arrival crude importers licensed were not more than 40, before he left, there's more than 120 licenses to kids, friends, family, party loyalists, etc and all they really cared about was the subsidy fraud

Okonjo iweala confirmed she said Nigerias economy was in trouble, instead of saying it's in recession, she said it's cash strapped

If the economy was stable and the previous administration's had policies that stabilized the economy, never in the history of any country in the world has a strong economy gotten into recession in just a little over a year , and to further point that out, Buhari did not read budget until this year, do technically, they are saying Buhari drove the country into recession under 5 months

But then what do I know?
