A man relentlessly followed a lady on a busy commercial road in Enugu, kneeling at several points, begging her inaudibly.

While eyewitnesses said the love-struck man was begging the lady to love him, passersby who followed the couple around were heard saying something about forgiveness.

The visibly embarrassed lady responded to the man's pleas with a barrage of insults and repeated slaps but the man kept pestering her until passersby were finally able to subdue him which allowed the lady to make her escape.
