According to a social media user who shared the photos,a transformer is submerged in flood in Egbeda area.Below is what he wrote...

'The fear of electrocution has gripped the residents of Orelope street in Egbeda as the electricity transformer in the community is currently on the verge of being submerged by flood following heavy downpour.

Indeed, flood in Lagos has assumed a state-wide menace as rain fall continue to fall almost unceasingly over the last two weeks. Many residents have been rendered homeless as result. Properties worth millions have been destroyed. But the most devastating is the loss of lives.

Unfortunately, these communities face the risk of death by electrocution if as a matter of urgency, Ikeja Electric officials do not intervene with immediate effect and relocate to the said transformer'.
