He is an Islamist. Remember that Katsina State, where he's the governor, happened to be the 5th state that introduced Sharia. The State even ordered one woman, Amina, to be stoned to death for committing adultery. This was well played out on the international scene. What will be the lots of christians when such an Islamist, that might likely take Nigeria to a pariah state becomes the president. Aside from that, I think im ok with the guy. He's got a strange, quiet aura around him

If he tries anything religious, what happened to Abacha will happen to him. Abacha was trying to change Nigeria to an islamic country when God gave him an eternal apple.

I urge us to leave out Religion and ethinicity in our discussions these are issues that separate the existence of the country. No one will Islamise or Christianise Nigeria. Nigeria is a multi religious state as stated in the constitution.
