The children are already used to this way of life. It will be much more difficult to cut out bad traits one get from his/her parents because the parents are the first teachers and children are inclined to trust the parents 100%.

I was born into a christian family but was lucky my parents kicked the bucket while I was very young. This made me reform my mind at an early age.

Your opinion is always welcomed. Some parents are better off dead to free the kids. The kids are the future and if their minds are polluted with poor upbringing the future is contaminated. We can see that in the Nigerian society today.

The average Nigerian parents think for their kids, hence Nigeria is experiencing a non- productive future generation. Most Nigerian 20+ still live at home with parents. How many under 40s are involved in running the Nigerian government? Can you list 10? Well you see what I mean?

I supported what Alfa said because I can relate with it. You may be lucky to have good parents(which is a bonus). I never lived with one and I have a great home. My son will be independent once he is 18. That's a guarantee

I don't lack love. I love myself first and have love around me. Parental love is not necessary to feel loved.

I just took him to his swimming class actually and he did very well. He loves painting and drama. He will be in line to audition for a British kids program ON Sky. I paid for his drama class(which is his preference) to sharpen his acting skills,and he is only 4. I doubt he will remain dependent on me at over 18+ like you did to your parent,and probably still are.
