RESPONSIBILITIES

n Oversees logistics planning, port operations and inventory control functions in support of the activities of all operating units within the logistics function

n Drive the process for vendor sourcing as it relates to Logistics

n Has responsibility for managing key relationships at the ports

n Forecast resource requirements and line personnel re-allocations based upon changing dynamics of the business

n Coordinator of sequence of resources to carry out the company business

n Tracking and reporting manpower and equipment usage

n Perform regular documentation audits in field location/offices to ensure that documents in the field are up to date



JOB SPECIFICATIONS

EXPERIENCE

n A minimum of 8 years continuous work experience in the Supply Chain function within a manufacturing company - preferable in a multi-national environment

n Ability to work within budgets

n Basic knowledge of shipping/port operations



EDUCATION QUALIFICATIONS

n A University degree is mandatory

n Must be Computer literate

BEHAVIORAL COMPETENCIES

n Strong organizational abilities

n Good negotiation skills

n Strong planning skills
