I will like to say that the things you read on this platform (nairaland) are opinions, experiences and perceptions of others and not verified facts.

Advice:
I have read comments here that are not entirely true/false as the case may be. The importance of this forum however is for you to read and make informed decisions as it applies to you.

My experience today at the FCSC:
I got to the ogun/lagos office at 10.30am, was given a new application form, filled it, attached two copies of my documents like we did at PSIN, Kubwa. Files were opened for each applicant and kept away. The officers said we will be called for APL next, but didn't give a date.

Good evening my brothers and sisters,just left FCSC Abuja some few minute ago ,the truth about this FCSC OR recruitment is that those who go for documentation they are among the successful applicant qualified to be given appointment letter.2,More message will be send to other successful applicant by next week , one among d highest authority told me they are still processing some applicant result.3,All d successful applicant names are printed in pages like my state each page carry 6 names and it is up to 7 pages.And lastly u should always keep your phone close to u, because some applicant are calls directly not messages.THANK YOU.

Pls those who are under Federal Ministry of Education ,they should prepared to teach at Federal Unity School in all state of federation.Though 0.5% will remain at d Federal Ministry of education while 99.5 will be posted to federal schools to teach.The following categories of people will remain at d headquarters,those who know minister,permanent secretary or director at d Ministry and even when u know them it is not guaranteed as they have specific numbers which they need, they will remain with them at d headquarters.2,Those with disability e.g when you have poor vision or high stammerer, paralysis e.t.c.Thank You.

Congrats , MFA is more or less a professional body if there are shortage of professionals especially those proficient in international relations or languages among the connected they throw it to the minute merit pull, the reason is they need to shown the outside world that Nigeria has a good image and are professionals this will boost confidence of foreigners to invest but when you install a connected mediocre(most are also bad mouthed and unprofessional in their conduct ) they will disgrace Nigeria in foreign lands and those who visit Nigeria to have impression of how the Country is. But the non too professional positions in MFA will go to the connected and they will be the Ogas and their promotions flow smoother than the few merit based professionals who work their hearts out.

As sad as my own info might seem, I was equally at the FCSC today from about 8:00am to about 6:00pm when I rounded up and left. Reliably I was told that all shortlisted candidates have been send SMS. If by now u haven't gotten, then it's over. SE, SW, SS, NE, NW and NC all have been invited. I saw guys from all states. Funny enough most of those guys I sensed don't do Nairaland and a few do but don't make comments on the forum. However some who couldn't get the text manage to enter and get a form and filled out and got FC numbers. But don't celebrate yet until u see Appointment Letters cos ur wish might just be a dream. All forms dully filled and submitted must be crosschecked and name match on the list before a letter will be typed for such a fellow.

A Federal Commissioner told me that the highest slot a state can get for a vacancy is 3. One from each Senatorial District. However, that some Commissioners erroneously shortlisted candidates for Ministry's or Parastatals that slot weren't allocated to their respective states and there is nothing they can do about it than to discard such results. So sorry about that.

Hope is not all lost. Strong underground runs is underway shortlisting and compiling names to add to the already invited ones. But the Commissioner emphatically stressed that the slots have not been approved yet. So you may need to get a God Father to step in this matter if not, this recruitment is history now. No. Quote me right. Once you have received a text and have done or will do ur documentation accordingly, u are good to go. You are in already. APL is awaiting u. But for those who just filled forms and got filed and FC numbers without getting a text message which signifies their selection, might be chasing a ghost. Because ur form must be verified from the list before the letter is printed for u. No text message good as not selected. This I learned. Opening of file is equally for reference purpose aside documenting ur credentials.

One more thing, these guys don't allow anyone see the list irrespective of the state.

All you have said can never be the truth. I will substantiate my assertion next week by the grace of God. I have gone through all your posts on this forum and did not see any reason for you to claim that you were at Fcsc 8 to 6, If that's the case, then you must have written this trash out of frustration and disappointment, which is wrong to be vented here killing people's hope. we shall see by next week God willing
