As many as thirty (30) political parties have signified their intention to participate in the November 26, 2016 governorship election in Ondo state

The State Resident Electoral Commissioner, REC of the Independent National Electoral Commission INEC, Mr. Olusegun Agbaje, made the disclosure to journalists on Tuesday at a press briefing in Akure.

He said the commission was prepared to conduct a transparent governorship election and has been meeting with the leaders of the political parties and other stakeholders concerned in the electoral process of the state.
