today just three days since resumption, i was supervising my students to clear the bushy surrending. After working for a long time, i was schock when a student brought a black round live creature with thorns. I said it should be a pocupine, an Hausa merchant passing by say no is "idiot" he futher explain dat is like a rodent with head, and hands, and once it hear sound it will fold. I say maybe dats why is called idiot. He press d animal from one side i saw d hands and head. Immediatly i contacted google for image. As a forester and wildlifer i told dem many of similar species exist just dat some are endangered while some are threathen and some are extinct. Another student i believe is familiar with the creature said it live under Rocks. I have never seen dis before only today am so happy i ask d student to conserve it for posterity.
