dfrost: That is the biggest scam and don't be deceived, it's only 600 naira treatment u will get or nothing at all as a lot of these HMOS will owe clinics on end. Secondly u are deceived that u get to visit many clinics, again this is a lie cos u can only go to one clinic to which your capitation has been paid. The question is why not pay 50% of that 90 or 100k to the hospital and get treated like royalty instead of a leper in order to stop all these complaints? But that is not going to happen cause management and HMOS have sth going on. In the end, productivity suffers and you keep suffering. If u don't have a union go form one. Many are beginning to see HMOS for what it is. 1 Like |

nuela100:Being a DENTIST Myself I can tell that the only PERSON being shortchanged HERE was the Hospital and Government, which by the way am not in support of,NOT you..not going to Hospital for TEN years left you IGNORANT of the basic TENEMENT of how a Doctor operates when it comes to the questions he was asking you as a PATIENT and believe it or not there are GOOD reasons for the questions..there were some under hand RUNS but YOU were not the VICTIM,to clear your mind on the real price for the procedures you can send somebody to inquire and I bet the prices are REAL,they just didn't want to pay in EVERYTHING to the Hospital.. 2 Likes |

donbenie:Being a patriotic Nigerian, I think am also a victim cos I shouldn't be used as an instrument to foster corruption. And I've already made inquiries, tooth extraction is actually 2500 in that particular hospital. So there's no way just filling could have been 4500. If you doubt it, I didn't hide the name of the hospital. Find out on your own 1 Like |

nuela100: Victim of what? You paid for the services rendered. If you were really concerned, you wouldn't have paid the money to the nurse. You are not even sure that what they did is illegal in any way. Did you talk to the management and they confirmed your suspicion? Because it is abnormal doesn't make it illegal. The person you will complain to may be the arrowhead of the plan. As long as money is involved, everyone in that department is involved. The less you think about affairs in Nigeria, the more your sanity will be intact. Like they pray,"God, give me the courage to accept the things I cannot change...." |

ghuzy01: You have just confirmed that what I narrated happens, by the way I thought its no longer the same now compared to that time. I guess I was wrong. Are you part of those that shortchange the hospital management ? Repent oo As if you guys are not happy when IT students come around simply because of the workload at a GH med lab. |
