1. Kitay Okotete is a ‘confirm Warri boy!’ (from Ekurede Urhobo, warri). He was born, raised, and had his Primary and Secondary school education in Warri, Delta state.

2. Kitay is from the same neighborhood where the like of Yung 6ix, Erigga and other sensational performing artists like STAINLEX P, Mavo, Ice cod, D will, Emperor, C2nice hail from.

3. This music enthusiast auditioned for Project Fame in Season 8 in Abuja, but he did not make it to Top 24 even though he got a YES. He decided to give Fame another shot this year.

4. Kitay is the 5th child of a large family. Music for him started when Dad began taking young Kitay to church. He joined the choir and continued to school himself in music.
Kitay won a gospel music competition in Warri in 2013.

5. Kitay is a 300 Level student of Ambrose Alli University, Edo state department Vocation & Technical Studies.
