This is a gospel according to HBO for those of who enjoy watching HBO. The company is set to launch its apps on PS3 and PS4. Unfortunately, HBO and Sony didn’t offer a release date, but we have reasons to believe the HBO apps will be ready by October 2nd because that is when the new series from HBO, Westworld, will be unveiled.

What's more, they said Cinemax will be accessible on PlayStation Vue - a streaming substitute to cable TV made by Sony. The networks will be offered for a USD15 subscription, for every application. Users will have access to HBO Go, HBO Now and Max Go.

Obviously, HBO intends to connect with console producers and reach as many users as possible. You can use HBO apps on Xbox 360 and Xbox One. We are hoping greater things to occur in the future with these 2 gigantic companies working collectively.

Hopefully this decision will make many people more contented. HBO used to be one of the most demanded channels for PlayStation Vue. Sony desires its users to be happy and will collaborate with HBO no matter what it takes to please them. HBO is for the very first time going for a live programming, while Cinemax remains a separate channel. Rumor has it that Sony determined the price for the networks. Hopefully lots of people will use them, since PlayStation is now very popular.

HBO, launched in 1972 with millions of subscribers is the first operating pay TV service in the US. Technology advanced and it’s now possible to have it on our smartphones, tablets and laptops, and of course, it’s soon going to be available on PS3 and PS4.

We’ll have to wait and see how many users HBO will get on PlayStation since it has over 36 million houses in the US subscribed, and 122 million subscribers internationally. HBO really is one of the most popular brands of the moment with television series like Game of Thrones and True Blood.
