Title of Job: Administrative/Human Resource.
Location of Job (UNIT): Head Office - Abuja
Number of Subordinates: Nil
Reports to: Associate Partner, DCP

Main Function
To ensure effective management and security of DCP assets and office, employment records, utility payments, external service contracts, including the proper recording and maintenance of important external and internal communications; To handle employee recruitment, training and development, the provision of compensation and benefits, the enforcement of disciplinary procedures and conflict resolution, while ensuring that the company continues to meet its business and organizational objectives.

Role Responsibility
*Administer and monitor the financial system in order to ensure that DCP finances are maintained in an accurate and timely manner:
• Assist with preparation of the budget
• Implement financial policies and procedures
• Ensure transactions are properly recorded and entered into the computerized accounting system
• Maintain financial files and records
* To ensure the effective management and security of DCP assets
• Supervising the use of the company vehicles and properties
• Keeping regular service and repair records of company vehicles and properties
• Regularly checking the condition of DCP assets and premises
• Responding to reports from departments concerning repairs, acquisition and maintenance of assets
• Defining security guidelines and ensuring adherence
* To handle employment processes and ensure the maintenance of DCP employment records
• Identifies hiring need, develops the position description, Recruitment Plan, organizational chart and other recruitment related documents
• Works with the Engagement Manager (EM) to prepare the job description and ensures proper procedures for review and approval are met at the department level
• Posts recruitment on selected job boards
• Notifies interviewees not selected
• Reviews recruitments and provides oversight of the recruitment process
• Routes online recruitment requests to Human Resources for job classification and posting
• May coordinate short list review
• opening files for new recruits, maintaining and updating them as and when required
*Administer employee files and records in order to ensure accurate payment of benefits
and allowances
• Administer employment agreements
• Verify and report on benefits payments
• Maintain the leave management system
• Review remittances
• Supervise completion of the payroll
• Review payroll reports
• You will not only deal with staff welfare and administration-centred activities, but also strategy and planning.
*To ensure the proper management of DCP utility payments
• verifying utility invoices to ascertain that they are correct
• coordinating with the Finance and Accounts department for utility payments
• Manage distribution of utilities bills and collections of accounts
*To ensure the effective management of DCP external service contracts
maintaining an update record of all existing and future external service contracts
*To ensure the proper recording and maintenance of important communication
attending, taking and keeping minutes of the company management and committee meetings
*Provide appraisal annual reports to the management.
*Perform other related duties as required.

Qualification
The minimum academic requirement is a 2:1 degree in any discipline. Graduates with HR-related modules (such as psychology, personnel management, human resources development or management) are preferred.
• A master's degree is an asset.
