1. Developer/support Officer

DESCRIPTION
We currently have a vacancy for a self-driven, passionate and results focused Senior Software Developer to be part of our specialist team that will be dedicated to designing, developing and implementing an exciting code generation project. You will have to work in an agile environment, collaborating with highly skilled people who are proactive, passionate about technology and results driven.

Job description:
The successful candidate will be responsible for the in-house software development and design, website design and support, creation of special report using third party reporting tools, like crystal report.
Create efficient, scalable, reusable middle tier logic using any of ASP. NET, VB. NET, C# and other languages as needed.
Create intuitive, logical and dynamic user interfaces using HTML, JavaScript, and AJAX.
Create and design databases, views, stored procedures, SQL statements and user defined functions in SQL Server 2005/2008/2012 and Oracle
Manage Microsoft Windows 2003/2008/2013 Server, IIS, COM+ and MS SQL Server 2005/2008/2012 with regards to administration and performance tuning.
Develop and administer plug-ins to the monitoring tools to render critical reports for decision making
Assess, troubleshoot, document, upgrade and develop maintenance procedures.
Review code for potential performance issues, reusability, and/or anomalies.
Detail unit testing of code, Troubleshoot client problems both remotely and onsite.
Research and identify cause of reported defects and issues
Develop patches and defect fixes.
Perform and assist with quality assurance activities as needed.
Participate in training and/ or customer support activities as needed.
Backup/Recovery strategy of Database, VM Servers, Windows etc.

Requirements
Minimum of BSc. or HND Computer Science, Electrical Electronic, Computer Engineering, or any related field.
Minimum of 1 year experience in similar industry
Experience using typed datasets is critical.
Programming and development skill in CH. ASP. net, VB. Net, PHP, MSSQL, Web design and Sharepoint, with a good understanding of Microsoft line of products.


2. User Interface/User Experience Designer

DESCRIPTION
The User Interface/Web Developer position is responsible for designing and coding crisp, clean user interfaces. This position is both technical and creative: user interface coding for cross-browser and responsive functionality and designing creative and innovative UX designs. Strong skills are needed to clearly communicate, demonstrate, and advocate innovative design and usability to the stakeholders. Position Duties: This position will involve a variety of duties, depending upon the needs of the project assignments.

Presentation layer coding from wireframes
HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, AJAX, JSF/PrimeFaces, AngularJS, Bootstrap
UX Design
Wireframes and prototypes: interact with team members and business customers to determine interface requirements and design innovative prototypes that will surprise and delight the customer, especially for responsive and mobile interfaces
Interactive component coding in JavaScript
Advocate proper usability and design principles while working on projects
Trouble shooting of presentation layer coding issues
Usability testing

Skills Required:
Possess excellent oral and written communication skills, as well as facilitation and presentation skills, and engaging presentation style.
Ability to work as a global team member, as well as independently, in a changing environment and managing multiple priorities.
Ability to establish and maintain cooperative and effective working relationships with application implementation teams, IT project teams, business customers, and end users.
Ability to deliver work within deadlines.

Experience Required:
2+ Years overall IT experience that will specifically include:
2+ years. experience with HTML, CSS, AJAX.
2+ years. experience with UX design
JavaScript: Ability to code object oriented JavaScript to provide for dynamic behavior within the user interface with an understanding of the server behavior relating to AJAX.
Extensive experience with HTML5 and CSS3
UX design experience - usability principles, wireframes, screen layout design, usability testing
Experience with AngularJS and Bootstrap
Experience with creating and coding mobile web interfaces and understanding the major mobile OS visual/UX paradigms
