So is Buhari still blaming GEJ now

this shhh has been falling ever since for like a year now.

I remember when naira appreciated against the dollar, when Buhari just assumed office. All his praise singers (zombies/afonjass) were hailing the expedited change, now what

Anywho this isn't really the time to apportion blame, well unless it's for Dullarpo. Rather, this is the time for them to get to work dammit

what sort of rubbish is this? So irritating

It's really obvious that some forces are behind this , cos this is not normal at all , this already getting to d point of hyper inflation... Why does the presidency see corruption as only when public funds are looted .. The free fall of the naira it's self is cos by corruption .. Why are we having a free fall ? If there is a free fall why is th govt not doing anything to stabilize it ? Why is the rate 308 at interbank fx and the banks are selling at 400 as at today ? Aren't the banks making hell of profits ? Why is the Cbn not regulating banks in this areas? So much for naija , hope it won't get to the point that we will be surviving on foreign aids

I think we are officially in a forex crisis.
Its no longer a forex market but simply a 1-way trade.
Its high time the govt declare an emergency in this sector
else the future of this Country would be totally destroyed

As long as the country does not generate enough dollar to meet demand the Naira will continue to depreciate. This has nothing to do with Buhari. So if our brothers in Niger Delta continue to bomb the crude oil pipes such that the country does not generate revenue the result is the slide in Naira. It would have been less severe if GEJ and NOI, despite warnings in 2013 of oil price slide due to oil shale activity in USA, saved for the raining days. But they blew all the earnings (the highest in the history of the country) not on developmental projects but in stealing and making a few billionaires to the detriment of the citizenry. They also damaged the oil and gas industry ( the goose that lays the golden eggs) by piling up debt in JV cash calls causing divestment in the industry. Only way out is for the country to generate forex through diversification and that involves everyone. I was happy reading that Anambra was now exporting vegetables. We used to import vegetables from neighboring countries for the cargo planes that come into the country not to leave empty.

What kind of country is this Every day dollar this , dollar that. Let us adopt the dollar instead. Pathetic and clueless government that cant come up with policies to get us out of this mess. One way or the other, countries experience recession but its good policies that determines how long you stay in it.
