A newly established ICT and Skill Development Outfit located in Lekki Phase One, Lagos State, requires the services of competent and self-motivated staff as indicated below: (a) TECHNICAL OFFICER Education, experience & skills required; • Minimum of HND/B.Sc in computer science or related discipline with 2 years’ post NYSC work experience in similar position. • Analytical mind. • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. • Fluent verbal and written English • Able to work in a challenging environment with little or no supervision. • Great team player and outstanding individualistic personality. • Must be computer literate with a broad knowledge of basic computer applications like Microsoft Word, Excel, Powerpoint and internet surfing. • Must be smart and good-looking. • Not more than 30 years old • The office is located in Lekki Phase 1, Lekki – Ajah residents preferred but not compulsory. Responsibilities include but not limited to; Manage the Academy Network, understanding the existing network architecture (wired and wireless), expanding it and managing based on needs. Special focus on this is microtik devices (routers, switches, radios, cabling, user management and configuration. Management of the Academy internet and intranet services, interfacing with ISP, deployment of internet; configuration of users, security, distribution etc. Put in place an effective internet and intranet systems for clients and staff. Hardware and Software maintenance and repairs: Servers, clients, stand alone, computers, inverters, UPS, stabilizers, projectors, security, system software etc. Management of the Academy server and server-side related activities. Preparing and setting up the Academy for Certification examination, courses, lectures and other uses. Initiate, develop and deliver ICT related training and development activities. Interface with external technical officers and consultants as may be assigned from time to time. Working with the Admin/Finance and the Technical officer; shall perform all Marketing functions of the Academy using the following Marketing principles; Marketing Mix – 4Ps 1. Product: Design, coordinating, packaging, branding of all products of the Academy a) ICT – product and services b) CBT services and product c) Employment Agency services d) Training and development services e) Certification services f) Consultancy services g) Carry out needs assessment of the Academy in relation to the above and other emergent products. 2. Pricing: a) Carrying out of Marketing Survey of competitors’ products and activities to determine appropriate pricing, discounts, method of payment and promo. b) Determine and evaluate economic (class), political, social and technological environments of potential clients in arriving at affordable pricing eg penetrating pricing or high class pricing irrespective of the product value. 3. Place: a) This will require compilations of full particulars of competitors and obtaining their manuals, promo tools e.g course outlines and flows b) Compilation of full particulars of potential organisational and individual clients for letters of introduction, promotion and marketing appeals of all the Academy’s products and services. c) Compilation of full particulars of schools/institutions for marketing appeals. d) Carry out Market segmentation of clients for specific appeals and management. 4. Public Relations: Develop: a) Press Relations – This is necessary for favourable mention in Print Media such as Newspapers, Handbills, Magazine, and Brochures. Broadcast Media on Radio, Cable and Television. b) Community Relations aimed at promoting the Academy in neighbouring streets and lekki Phase I in general. c) Employee Relation – This involve Total Marketing System, ensuring all staff are capable of Marketing the products and services with or without reward. Coordinate Affiliates/Resellers/Commission Agents and Initiators. d) Customers Relations – Initiate programmes of retention and patronage through the use of PR, Forum and Membership, Free services and training. e) Initiate, produce and manage resources in the following formats: Texts – Fliers, brochure, handbills and poster. Audio – Mp3 Video – Mp4 Graphics – Photographs, images, handbills and posters In addition to the 4PS, Perform Digital Marketing through Social Media such as 1. Facebook 2. Twitter 3. Google plus 4. Linked-in 5. You-tube 6. Instagram 7. Newsletters 8. SMS Integration 9. Multimedia 10. Mobile application 11. Customized email promotion 12. Chatting and handling customers support.
