Everyone came from the East at different times... some arrived in Yorubaland and all over West Africa at different times ... some who arrived later were more civilized than the indigenes... imagine Mansa Musa travelling to Mecca from Mali in those days he took lots of gold and people and surely left people along the way going and coming back

People could have been in West Africa and not originate from anywhere and there languages appear in ours

Yoruba has lots of words they met here and adopted

Ijebus are different and I’m proud to be Ijebu. Obanta came from Wadai or Ife but in the Golden Age of Ile Ife everyone wanted to be connected to Oduduwa

Yarubawa and Larubawa are Yorubas and Arabs respectively in which Ya runaway was the name given or borne by Yorubas who passed through the North to get here

Certainly every one came from the East at different times

Senegalese are tall like Masai and must have left earlier than most of the origin of Man is Africa and Africa was the birthplace of Man from North East West and South

Fact can be found in your point on migration but Ijẹbus were founded by princes from Iléifẹ no doubt about migrants who joined from elsewhere . Be it Near East, North Africa,Sudan Egypt, West Africa or elsewher .

Ọbánta as a name and personality was not the founder of Ijẹbu ode and not even a descendants of Odùdua.

The founder Ijjẹbu Ode was Ọṣinmoore contracted to Ọṣi or Ọṣin, who was a descendants of Ọbalùfọ̀n.

Yorubas share common Ancestors with dufur people of the Wandai kingdom 12th century
(Last two photos taken in the early 1900s, shows nobel men of North-West Chad that share a lineage with the Yoruba people split by migration into West Africa)

Yoruba and Nupe share the same Ancestry and some Nupe had Kanuri Ancestry and Kanuri had strong Sudanese Ancestry

People have been making this claim since they adopted Christianity and Islam, trying to link themselves closer to where their religions come from.
If they can't link it to Israel or Arabia they will settle for Ethiopia, Egypt and Sudan

But unfortunately, its all just fantasy

For centuries and decades now that this claims have been flying around, there isn't a single ounce of evidence.

Obanta's mother married to oduduwa is known, another female member of her family was married to oduduwa. Details are known in Ijebu and in Ife that agree on the same narratives
But this waddai sha grin
Funny thing is waddai did not exist during the time of Obanta.
Obanta lived in the 13th/14th century, waddai was founded in the 17th century
See magic cheesy

Another funny thing is that all of you are so ignorant that you like to say Waddai in Sudan. Waddai was not even in Sudan but in Chad/central African Republic

There is no Ham in Yoruba Pantheon

Secondly, the Bible historical account pinned the world's age at Six thousands Years which is not a reality because human fossil have been found to be more than 45 times the years of world existence according to the Bible. It is not a reality.
