Nigerians,Lets Kill Our Enemies

Do we really have to kill them? Who are those we need to kill? We need to kill our killers. Our killers are our enemies. In the radio broadcast by Major Chukwuemeka Kaduna Nzeogwu, while announcing Nigeria's first military coup on Radio Nigeria, Kaduna on January 15, 1966 defined our enemies and I quote him "our enemies are the political profiteers, the swindlers, the men in high and low places that seek bribes and 10percent; those that seek to keep the country divided permanently so that they can remain in office as ministers or VIPs at least; the tribalists, the nepotists, those that make the country big for nothing before international circles, those that have corrupted our society and put the Nigerian political calendar back by their words and deeds".       Nigerians, this was decades ago and we have not even made serious efforts to defeat our enemies. Corruption is a great great grandmother whose descendants have  wreaked havoc continously on us all.Corruption has sent a lot of us to our early grave.Corruption has shattered alot of hitherto promising destinies. Corruption brought our present recession and the miserable lives we live collectively as a nation. The battle to kill corruption should transcend ethno-religious barriers because we all are victims of corruption except we want to live in self denial.
Our enemies are not the law abiding citizens in the north or those going about their normal businesses in the west and South. Our enemies are the political profiteers who through their unbridled appetite for illicit wealth engage in corrupt practices and whip up ethnic and religious sentiments to distract us from the atrocities they are committing. Our enemies are the senators and House of Representatives members who take billions for legislating only to advance their own pockets and let the real workers largesse in poverty. Our enemies are the public and civil servants who use their privileged positions to undermime the goals of our founding fathers. Our enemies are corrupt members of the judiciary who have subverted the course of Justice against the fight against corruption. Our enemies are those men and women who because of pecuniary gains protest against the good in support of the evil. Our enemies are those who send our brave and gallant soldiers to the battle front ill equipped.
Our enemies are all those men in high and low places who demand for sex from our sisters before giving them jobs .
Nigerians must unite with one voice and pressurize our leaders to let the capital punishment be the penalty for any indictment in a corruption case. The immunity clause should be stripped off all political office holders. The anti graft agencies should be merged together, fully staffed and empowered to carry out the strenuous job of ridding the country of corruption. Nigeria should let private sector players take over the management of public corporation to ensure efficiency. Government should implement strong labor laws and policies to avoid undue ripping off of employees by their employers. All governors that took the federal government bail out for offsetting their wage deficit but diverting it to other purposes should also be brought to justice.     Brothers and sisters across the Niger area, let us stop chasing shadows and start seeking for justice from our real enemies. Its only then that the labor of our heroes past shall not be in vain, its then we can have a Nigeria to truly call our home.Lets join hands to build a nation where peace and justice shall reign. There is only one Nigeria and it belongs to we all.If we let it be ruined, each and everyone of us will be ruined. Let us all with strong determination resist our Enemies.
