My laptop keys stopped responding a few days ago and emits a clicking sound contnously. I use an external mouse and that doesn't respond either. It runs on windows 7 Anyone with a possible solution should please advice. Thanks. |

The external mouse is now measurably working but the keyboard keys are not displaying. I have googled some suggestions and applied them to no avail. The clicking sound now comes up during reboot also. Any ideas anyone! |

Get a new keyboard. |

one or more of the keys in your keyboard is having a hard press which means that there is a constant friction as if it is pressed down. manually check all the keys to make sure they are free by tapping and carefully confirm that they are not pressed down. if this does not stop the problem. then get a new keyboard. |
