We,Ezinifite town in nnewi south local govt area of Anambra state need your assistance in the area of road construction,erosion control and Construction of new Ulasi river bridge that links our town Ezinifite/Anambra state to Imo state through Orsu / Orlu local govt areas of Imo state.
(1)Our town Ezinifite shares a common boundary with a town in ihiala local govt area known as Lilu town but whenever we(Ezinifite people )wants to travel to ihiala town due to the bad state of d road that links Ezinifite to ihiala through Lilu town we always gets to Nnewi and join the nnewi/ihiala road before we will get to ihiala town which could have taken us from Ezinifite central area just less than fifteen minutes to get to ihiala town if d road that links us to ihiala town through Lilu town were good but due to d bad state of d road we end up spending close to 1hour 30 minutes before we will get to ihiala town.

This Ezinifite to Orlu road, if Gov. Obiano can do the bridge across the Urashi river so as to make the road motorable to connect Anambra and Imo states, Obiano will remain blessed forever.

Only a bridge across Urashi river is all there is left to make the road motorable from Anambra towns like Awka, Ezinifite to Orlu to Owerri and to Portharcourt or Calabar.

The federal government constructed the road long ago from Awka through Orlu to Owerri, asphalted the road all through, but the construction firm could not build a small bridge or tunnel across Urashi River to make the road usable.
The firm was paid by Abuja all the same.

The portion of the road between Ezinifite in Anambra state through Ideato to Orlu in Imo state was not put to use since then.
Worse, Landslides from borrow pits where sand was taken to construct the road has sacked many villages on the road in Anambra state and Ideato areas of Imo state.

Gov. Obiano, please act to bring this Awka-Orlu-Owerri road to be usable.

Please don't look at the Imo state governor, Rochas Okorocha over this. That one is deceiving himself with making Owerri a Mega city solely for the benefit of his private businesses scattered in Owerri. He recently invited every Imo state citizen to claim Owerri as owners of Owerri, though he claims to come from Ideato areas.
