Forged in the very fire of strength and courage,
With ashes and smoke rising into the dark skies

Adversaries has risen on all sides
Threatening the very existence of what was a country
Breaking from the shackles of the slave master
Now shackled wrist and feet by our very own freedom
In love, unity and honesty from the grand plan it should grow
As grown on lies, hate, ethnicity and nepotism
Greatest weaknesses exploited by adversaries with raging fury
Bamboozling us of every comfort obtainable
On top the mountain, I see what is left of what was once a country
Where shall we go from here?
Happy independence if there's a tiny bit of happinesses' worth.... We shall be great again.
