Empty stadium. People are not in the mood for celebration. Why should we even celebrate when we are not truly independent. 8 Likes 1 Share |

Let's continue glorifying Sani Abacha, and 100 years from now, the kids of that generation will listen to Nigerian anthem and think Late General Sani Abacha is one of our heroes past NB: As a matter of fact, there are very few heroes past that had come out of Nigeria, and those few heroes are not celebrated or minimally celebrated. Little wonder the Nigerian national anthem is not that regarded by the citizens in comparison to the way americans regard their star-spangled banner 5 Likes |

Hmmmmmmmm..... I see two horses scampering for safety, an eagle flying off a platform with the speed of light, two rivers drying up all of a sudden, grasses suddenly die as though they poured weed control chemicals on them. I mean by the looks of the stadium oh(empty) before una go make me go involuntary leave for this network oh. |

Good very good, this was how we celebrated our nation's independence as a child in the 80s, All schools will compete to be the best in matching and dressing. But these days children don't even know what independence celebrations means cos the the values have died and evidently that is why some on this thread could only pick the venue named after Abacha as an issue. Kudos Kano state for celebrating our independence and all other states that did same unlike our president who sad in his villa to only mark it with change of guard |
