Your country is killing us with GMOs, Ebola, HIV, ISISs. US is a colonial master. Until we can get back at you, well just hate from far. And apply for visas to come take back the money siphoned from our land to yours by your multi nationals who stole all our minerals.

I know you are new on this forum. They are HAC members and we know them all. HAC means Hate America Club . I know where their hatred comes from. Don't let it bother you. It's their bread and butter. If I am in their situation, I will probably hate America too. You are gonna be called names but don't let it bother you. With the problems in the TITANIC they live in, you will think they have something to focus their energy on to stop their TITANIC from sinking. Wear their scorn and hatred of America has a badge of honor. That's what i do plus I give as much as i take. Most of them are cowards that won't show their faces. They just hide under the anonymity of nairaland to spout their garbage. I have challenged couple of them just to meet and the faceless cowards always find one excuse or the other. You and your worthless communist manifestos. Wasting your meagre resources on googling junks. Some people at the Google headquarters are happy you are making cheese for them without you knowing. Keep buying data on your cheap made in China phone. Maybe I need to buy Google shares because of guys like you.

Really comical, if they channelled half their frustration into protesting their corrupt governments, they wouldn't be in such a big mess currently.

With all the corruption and inept leadership in their Titanic, you will never hear a word from them. Let it come to our beloved America , they will be stumping all over to mouth off. The corrupt leadership who turned what's suppose to be the jewel of Africa to a junk yard where an average citizen lives on less that $2 a day doesn't get their condemnation. It's an incurable disease.

With that list, the United States of Anarchy is practically at war with the rest of the world. But, like we all know, some of our Kool Aid drinking brothers on the otherwise won't bother to checkout facts for themselves before commenting. None of them will borther to ask why was the United States voted as the greatest threat to World Peace? The only defense they can put up is that you are jealous of America's freedom and wealth. And you hate America because you wasn't able to secure a visa. Now, that's how you can tell a delusional gentleman from a critical thinker.

Let them be, brother. With time, they will learn.

I don't see any difference between Russia and the US. They're 2 sides of the same coin.

I would go into finer details some day. But these are the some of the most notorious US companies doing the dirty work for your government in Africa. Google these for finer details :-

- Glencore ( slavery of people in mines, pay them peanuts while transferring profits and raw mayerials to Europe and US to run companies which make US the great nation that it is)

- shell, et al " " "

- Monsanto, Sygenta, cargill (these ones run around villages patenting naturally occurring plants just so they can have monopoly of seed and be the source of food for Africa)

- etc

Europe and US won't stand as tall without the thievery of Africa's resources. From Gold and diamond to metals used in most industries to markets for the things you make using our metals. Enjoy while it lasts.

Of all the HAC members, you are the one that's very surprising to me. I really believe you are very intelligent and I am not patronizing you. Who cares about what some non entity says about how America is the most hated country in the world. Let you and i travel anywhere in the world with our different passports and see the kind of different treatments we get. I have traveled very extensively due to work and R and R. The respect of carrying that blue passport is unique. Will be in Nigeria this coming December and the respect is still there. All you need to do is go on to Travel Section on this Nairaland and see how your country men are jostling for US visas. Go to the Consulate in Lagos and see the behemoth crowd seeking entrance to God's own Country. You and your comrades in HAC can say all kind of vile things about America, the bottom line is that the Americans don't give a hoot. With all the unimaginable corruption and nepotism coupled with your Naira turning to tissue paper, that doesn't bother you guys. It's America that gets your mojo kicking. If I live in Nigeria, the worthlessly corrupt and whole fully inept government will be my numero uno concern. Nigeria is like a Titanic sinking and you guys are foaming in the mouth about a First World and First Class Country. What a misplaced priorities. I won't be worried if the house 10 miles away from me is burning while I know my house is on fire. Charity begins at home. Make Nigeria whole before you critique a great country called USA.

Go and tell the people working for those companies that they are getting peanuts in a country where an average citizen earns less than $2 a day. All your Thieflicians and their proxies stealing the country blind, how many employment they created in Nigeria. They take the money abroad. That's how useless your leadership are. Imagine a President has to travel to London to get ordinary ear of his fixed. You guys don't know how bad Nigeria is as a country because most of you are just used to third world way of living. Hating America won't add any positive to your life. It's only for entertainment on Nairaland.

Imagine a President has to travel to London to get ordinary ear of his fixed. You guys don't know how bad Nigeria is as a country because most of you are just used to third world way of living. Hating America won't add any positive to your life. It's only for entertainment on Nairaland.

You know when we were fighting for independence, it people like you that first had to be taken care of. It's also people like you who were so comfortable with being around the colonial masters because they were given the scraps that fell from their masters tables and we're ready to die for them. Collaborators are more dangerous than the oppressors they work for.

What point are you trying to make about earning less than $2 a day? undecided That the underpayment is justified because it's Africa? I spit.

I now see you are a Nigerian who ran away for greener pastures. You should have stayed here since you do not see anything wrong with multinationals paying workers less than 2$ a day.

I really don't know your independence fighters. But am sure they would agree with me concerning your kind. So will the future ones.

You are full of crap as usual. FYI, I didn't run away from Nigeria for greener pastures. My brethren and I grew up right here. So where did you get your garbage from. If you hear me coming to Nigeria, it's to spend Xmas with my parents who retired to Nigeria many, many years ago. They split their time between here and Nigeria. In fact, they are here for summer and will be leaving back to Nigeria in few days. Tell me one American companies that pay that $2 you are talking about to their employees. Go ask anyone that works at Chevron, Halliburton and other American companies in Nigeria there remunerations. I don't even know why I am debating with you. Keep hating America and that will elevate you in your life.

Labour laws? undecided You're truly Americanized.

You know what the Irony is, those Nigerian/African companies that need to be laughed at are subsidiaries of American Companies. You think its funny that they underpay Africans?

And how often do you visit your grandparents in Nigeria. With your ungrateful attitude I hope your village did not hold a fundraiser to get you there.

CRASH COURSE ON THE POWER OF MULTINATIONAL CORPORATIONS

African Underdevelopment and the Multinationals
http://www.ccsenet.org/journal/index.php/jsd/article/viewFile/11603/8237

Multinationals have always been used by the colonial masters to take over and control foreign territories

One of the initial Multinational Corporations that interacted with Africa, and other colonies, was the East India Company (1600 - 1874), a dynamic profit making entity, on the other existed a company operating on foreign soil, under control of the British government, having, operating and running armies, utilizing military power and ultimately taking over administrative functions of India and Africa. The British government later followed on its heels with resettlement of its citizens and imposition of themselves on the secured colonies.

Criticism of MNCs:
"Multinational corporations do control. They control the politicians. They control the media. They control the pattern of consumption, entertainment, thinking. They're destroying the planet and laying the foundation for violent outbursts and racial division."

~ Jerry Brown
There are two sides to every coin, and this is no different. Critics of MNCs state that the cons far outweigh the pros that MNC involvement brings to host countries. The primary concern for them is the high levels of unmonitored influence these companies have on host countries.

Colonialism:
MNC's are seen as a offshoot of western colonialism, albeit in a more subtle manner. Far from improving the balance of payments on both the current and capital accounts, critics argue that MNC's worsen it. This they argue happens when the profits are repatriated to their own countries. Though the local governments may come to an agreement that a certain portion of their inputs be bought in the local market, this however may come at a cost with negative impacts upon the less developed countries current accounts.

Unmatchable influence:
The power, influence and reach of these MNCs have enabled them to have considerable and highly influential affect on the political dynamics of numerous governments and their countries. The MNCs have been known to use this influence to pressurize governments into letting them become more competitive via the implementation of national policies that is conductive to their end goals, which is ultimately a hefty profit. One major drawback of such reforms is a vast decline in any socio-economic reforms.
