The quote is ludicrous.

Vibration could be as a result the brake pad rubbing against a rough face or edge of the rotor. You might ask your mechanic if they can still resurface the rotor or you might need to change it. The also need to service the breaks, using metal brush to clean the calipers, the pins and apply break grease. That should solve your problem. I had same issue on my 05 CRV.

You have not told us the type and year of the car. You didn't mention if insurance is expected to foot the bill. You did mention if it was Kazeem or executive car coy.

When you have a price list from your mechanic, www.autopartz.com should be used at least to verify the fairness of the quotation.

There, verified and registered auto parts suppliers in the various market associations where they conduct business in Nigeria, would give you the prices for the various auto parts when they are contacted.

My brother forget that thing.

I got a quote for about #280,000 for my 07 Peugeot 207 at a dealership in Alausa in 2011. Just brand new car I drove in there because I was hearing some squeaks in the front.

I knew very little about cars then, but I still fought them when I went to pick the car and was asking them to show me the parts they replaced and they were going to different sections of their workshop with parts that were obviously not from my car. Same day before I got home, I noticed 'depolution...' and Service Engine Soon came up so I made a detour accusing them of not 'servicing' the car, after paying #20,000 for 'consultancy' and #15,000 for servicing. The car never recovered, and they kept milking me.

Few months ago I still saw the invoice and couldn't stop wondering how much I was ripped off. Imagine they claimed to have changed the 02 sensor (on top say car dey squeak o), etc.

I don't doubt the op one bit.
