DON'T PREACH PEACE, PREACH HONESTY, TRUTH & JUSTICE.

"Everyone wants peace but no one wants Justice"

There are many definitions of Peace but I'll like to use these 4 definitions.
1. State of tranquillity or quiet.
2. Freedom from disquieting or oppressive thoughts or emotions.
3. Harmony in personal relations.
4. State or period of mutual concord between governments.

It's a thing of great joy to have peace but of more importance Justice, Truth and Honesty. Nigeria is a nation that is richly blessed by God the maker himself. But we make ourselves look cursed to people of the outside world. In some gatherings, saying you're a Nigerian is a minus other than being a plus.

Chatting with an Indian recently, after telling him I'm a Nigerian his attitude towards the conversation changed.

They preach PEACE in a nation where

=looters of Public funds pay a small fraction of the looted funds back;

=they overturn court cases with money;

=we claim to have a good health sector but our leaders travel to US, UK, Germany, Saudi Arabia etc for medical checkup;

=we claim to have good education sector but their children study overseas;

=₦100 is written on your receipt but you pay ₦500;

=an untarred road has already been commissioned in the books ;

=thieves attend #ChangeBeginsWithMe campaign;

=stealing is not corruption;

=workers are owed months salaries but still being disturbed;

=pensioners are not catered for;

=there's shortcut to everything e.g bypassing of electricity meters;

=the youths clamouring for Peace have already learnt Politricks and Corruption;

=the only tool of negotiation they understand is violence;

and many more unjust and dishonest behaviors are the order of the day.

*"The truth is an offence but not a shame"*
No one tells the truth about these things.

In 2011, at US final and successful attempt to kill Osama Bin Laden. They built two special helicopters with stealth technology for $60m each and spent a few million dollars on other equipments and processes and they were able to deliver the most wanted terrorist on Earth to Americans. Nigeria approved $2.1bn to purchase ammunitions to fight insurgency but all they could deliver to us is #DasukiGate.

Nigeria has been providing support to nations of the world but recently China, India and others have invested in the Nigerian economy. In no time we may be hearing countries like Zimbabwe Liberia, Sierra Leone and even Somalia coming to invest in our economy.

To end this write-up, the words of King of Reggae Bob Marley in his song titled "War"(Restructured)

Until the philosophy which hold one race superior and another inferior is finally and permanently discredited and abandoned;

Until there no longer first class and second class citizens of any nation;

Until the basic human rights are equally guaranteed to all without regard to class;

Until the ignoble and unhappy regimes that hold our brothers in
Osun state
Oyo state
Kwara state
Niger state
Nasarawa state
Borno state etc
Have been toppled and utterly destroyed;

#Honesty2Naija
#Truth2Naija
#Justice2Naija

Until all these are fulfilled Peace will remain nothing but a fleeting illusion to be pursued, but never attained.
It's not a curse it's the truth.

Happy Independence Day Nigeria!
Long live Nigeria!
God bless Nigeria!

I agree with OP. Take fulani herdsmen menace as example. We need honesty, trutht, and justice, and not peace. But why exclude certain region from the states mentioned.
