Why Must Business Suffer Loss And Why You Must Be A Risk Taker To Succeed by taiwofawole: 1:39pm On Oct 02, 2016 |
Who is a Risk Taker? An individual or business that tends to behave in a way that can potentially cause physical harm or financial loss, but might also present an opportunity for a rewarding outcome. Most business types that thrive on innovation will encourage a risk taker mentality among management to help support the creative process in other staff members. To every great entrepreneur, the number factors that made them who they are today is their guts of taking risk. You need to be able to be a risk taker at times if you want to hit it big and make the most that you can. Most times people who are adventurous are the ones who take risk. They are ignited with a zeal to reach new heights and such zeal empowers them to be more creative and prepared to win. it’s risky not to take chances. “In a world that’s changing really quickly, the only strategy that is guaranteed to fail is not taking risks,” .If we’ve learned nothing else from the most successful professionals of the world (Zuckerberg,Gates etc), we’ve learned that taking great risks can reap great rewards. Whether you’re wanting to start your own business or hoping to switch industries entirely. Take a chance! All life is a chance. “The man who goes the furthest is generally the one who is willing to do and dare.” – Dale Carnegie Risk takers are more likely to be successful because they do not limit themselves and are willing to put in their energy when every other person is hesitant. Why Most Entrepreneur Are Afraid To Take Risk • Fear-Many Entrepreneurial are always afraid to take Risk because the care more for their wealth instead of their passion ,The are always afraid and always ask the question “What if ” As an Entrepreneurer the question “what if” should be out our mind and always ask the question “How can” •Doubt-Many Entrepreneurer are always doubting their skills, try to explore and make sure your skills has no limit..You can never known your capability until you make a try. •Pressure-Just because Everybody who tried fail doesn’t mean you would fail too. Most Entrepreneur judge their strength with others,Just because Bill gate tried it and fail means “taiwo fresh” who is not even the richest man in his community and doesn’t have any business skills would failed too, The answer to that is No, If I don’t give it a try I would not know if I would fail or succeed,Do not let anybody tell you you can’t? Always make a try •Lack of Vision –Most Entrepreneurer do not have aims and goals, so what are the taking risk for,The do not have a dream nor vision,it only takes a man with dreams and vision to take risk,Have a dream today and take a risk on it Three Great Entrepreneur Who took a great career risk We have a million of successful Entrepreneur who took a Great risk and are very successful today,But I would only be discussing about my three best Risk taker Entrepreneurer, which are 1) Bill Gates: After two years at Harvard, a young Bill Gates took a risk that would end up giving way to the rest of his (wildly successful) career: He dropped out of college to found Microsoft. He never asked himself Questions like what if microsoft fold up,how will him feed himself, What if he doesn’t get support ,how will his peers feels. The moment he dropped out he was a failure to the Harvard Today, Harvard’s most successful dropout makes a point of urging students to stay in school (“getting a degree is a much surer path to success,” he’s said), but the idea behind his decision to drop out is still the same: Sometimes, a great risk reaps great reward. 2) Ashley Qualls- She is such a great inspiration to me ,At the age of 14 she dropped out to create a website she was not even sure of, it always a shame to me if an if 14 year old girl could take such a great risk, then am disappointed in most entrepreneurer Am not urging student to drop out but am asking them to take a risk in their field,Ashley Followed her passion and took a risk off it. Your passion might not involving dropping out,it not until you drop out before you take a risk 3) Elon Musk- When you make millions on an internet company like PayPal, the world generally expects you to, well, create and make more millions on another internet company. But Elon Musk’s dreams lay elsewhere. Rather than follow a more conventional career path, Musk took the money he had made at PayPal and invested it in two of his own highly innovative startups, SpaceX and Tesla. Though his attempt at operating these two ventures at once nearly sent both companies into bankruptcy, it seems to have ultimately paid off — today, both SpaceX and Tesla thrive. Things To know Before Taking Risk so has not to fail 50 % of risk taking sometimes lead to failure,Not all Risk Takers have a Great story to tell,Many Life has been lost in the verge of taking Risk. Here is a little story from my Encounter “I had a Family Friend, who was a Civil servant,he was been paid over $10000 equivalent to dollars ,he had invested so much ,he had Hectares of land ,Poultry Farm,Computer organizations and many other investments..He had always dream to be the first Nigerian to set up an automobile company, back then there was no automobile company. We loved and supported his dream,he sold off all is investment to invest into an automobile business,He even borrowed capital from banks as well ..He invested all Funds into this business but within four month of investment, the news I heard was that his company went bankrupt and he his currently lying sick on the hospital bed ” I wondered what could have happen back then because we weren’t given a incite of the whole incident,in the last few month,I asked my mum what happen, she explained why he failed and why must Entrepreneurial run into financial lost then I was motivated to bring a topic out of what she said then I could now understand why he went Bankrupt” • Firstly, He didn’t not have enough Knowledge about the business he was investing in, he only had the dream. If Bill Gates had dropped out with the dream of building microsoft and did not have any knowledge about computing ,I wonder how is life would have turned out today. “It not always about you dream it sometimes about your knowledge, it just like dreaming to ride a car without knowing what a car is” - Fawole Rachael Secondly,He was only Curious to start,he never took out time to make a detailed research on the advantages and disadvantages Take time to draw out your plan, “do not just be curious cos you have gotten the idea no one have because it always worthless like an ashes without a plan” -Fawole Racheal •He Hired people with the wrong skills due to giving employment to his loved ones,it would have being better if he hired people with the right skills then maybe his company would be in existence today, “People are always saying that the number one factors to a successful entrepreneur is your idea but sometimes it always your Employee” -Fawole Racheal •He only ventured into the business that time in order to make money not because of his passion “People who pursue their passion are more successful to people who pursue wealth” -Taiwo Fresh ,writer at Entrepreneur naija Interactive Play-What do You think might be the cause of him going bankrupt?
