Senator Ben Murray-Bruce wanted to be Governor of Bayelsa State. But the corrupt ruling party, PDP did not want an incorruptible governor. He would have transformed the state into one of the most developed states in Nigeria. The PDP wanted a political puppet of the former President of Nigeria and his First Lady who dictated the political leadership of Bayelsa State from Abuja. Now the poor and powerless people of the state are suffering for supporting and voting for the wrong person. They are reaping what they sowed.
