GEJ NOT A POLITICIAN, BUT......

The lessons learnt, in the couse of the 2015 elections general elections In Nigeria are plenty and they will for a long time remain in our mind. Political watchers and analyst, will continue to exray the events that took place, before, during and after the election..

While the 2015 general elections was deviod of political assassination and killings, witness in previous elections, one must not shy away from the fact that it was filled with drama, intrigue and tensions.

President Goodluck-Ebele Jonathan, who was the candidate of the people's Democrat party (PDP), was the subject of verbal attacks and threat from all asundry. The way and manner carried himself all through the period, has remain a subject of discussion.

Enthusiasts, friend and foes, have asked.. Why didn't he do anything, despite all the power at his disposal....Some have relied on different hypothesis and intuitions as the case may be to draw up conclusions. But they have failed to resolve the raging questions in the minds of many.

The Websters New universal dictionary's definition of politician, does not In Any way describe the character of former president Goodluck-Ebele Jonathan.

It states.. Politician : suggest the schemes and devices of a person who engage in (esp. Small politics for party ends or for one's own advantage.

The word that comes the closest to the definition of the character and person of GEJ, is statesman.

Webster new universal dictionary states

Statesman suggest the eminent ability, forsight, and unselfish patriotic devotion of a person dealing with (esp important orgent) affairs of state.

The 2015 presidential elections, had three winners : PMB, GEJ and the Nigeria people.
While president buhari won the the election to Aso - Rock, Goodluck-Ebele Jonathan won the heart of the world. The Nigerin people who are the greatest winner, find in Goodluck-Ebele Jonathan, its first and only statesman alive.
