Sometimes distinguishing between furry cuteness and pure destruction is not a simple task especially in animals. Some of the most prolific killers in the animal kingdom are often the cutest critters.

Some popular animals have continuously stole the top spots on various lists of the world’s dangerous and deadliest animals. While great white sharks, cobras, are very experienced predators, there are just as many little-known yet equally threatening animals lurking in the wild you probably don’t know about.

10)Asian Giant Hornet

Once you noticed the size of the Asian Giant Hornet, you will know why it needs to be on this list of the world’s most dangerous animals.

It is the world’s largest hornet, native to temperate and tropical Eastern Asia. It feed mainly on honey from honey bee colonies, but when attacking it is very dangerous due to its large stinger which is 6 mm (0.24 in) long and aids it to inject a large amount of potent venom into it’s victim body system.

To fully grasp the size of the Asian Giant Hornet, check out this video of a man’s “pet” hornet.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2ejN0B5YZeA

The hornet is responsible for over 1000 yearly deaths in Japan and it is also known to fly at an impressive 25 miles per hour–even faster when in a hive.

A single sting from the this deadly creature is enough to kill a fully grown man, that is because the hornet’s venom contains cytolytic peptides that literally tear apart cell tissue on a molecular scale.

9)Blue Ringed Octopus

The Blue Ringed Octopus are of three species and they are all deadly and they live in tide pools and coral reefs in the Pacific and Indian Oceans, from Japan to Australia. This deadly creature is popularly recognized as one of the most venomous marine animals.

About the size of a golf ball, don’t let it’s tiny little look fool you. This creature has in it enough venom to kill 26 fully grown humans and so you know there is no known antidote (for now). If you have a friend who has been bitten by this creature you better know how to do a CTR, because within a minute the victim would be completely paralyzed and you know that means they wont be able to breathe.

For the victim to survive this deadly situation he/she has to be placed on artificial respiration until all the venom is removed from the body system.

I prefer to call this deadly creature- Small but mighty.

cool Black Mamba

I remember during my younger years, the black mamba stories where always the ones that made me very uncomfortable due to their ability to completely take down victims irrespective of the size, and once again the weapon uses is -Venom.

The popular King Cobra are dangerous thanks to their respective poisons, but the Black Mamba is especially deadly due to its speed, it is the fastest of all snakes, slithering at speeds of up to 12.5 mph. They are usually found in rocky areas of southern and eastern Africa and can grow up to 14 feet long.

The good thing about the Black Mamba is that they usually don’t strike unless if provoked, but when they do they’ll bite repeatedly delivering enough venom to kill ten people. Correlative antivenin must be administered within 20 minutes of the bite or else it becomes 100% fatal.

7)Brazilian Wandering Spider

When they talk about scary spiders you should be scared of you rarely hear anyone talk about this guy, black widows and brown recluses often top the list. But the Brazilian Wandering Spider is undeniably the most terrifying of them all.

They are mainly found in tropical South America, with one species in Central America.

The Brazilian wandering spiders appear in Guinness World Records from 2010 as the world’s most venomous spider. Guinness World Records states that although the Brazilian wandering spider venom is the most toxic, an effective antivenom is available and few fatalities occur –Wikipedia

6)Saltwater Crocodile

Sitting at the top of its food chain the Saltwater Crocodile has been known to eat everything from water buffalo to sharks. The saltwater Crocodile is also known as the largest of all living reptiles, as well as the largest terrestrial and riparian predator in the world.

It is very capable of prevailing over almost any animal that enters into it territory, including other sharks & humans.

5)Komodo Dragon

The Komodo Dragon is also known as Komodo Monitior, they are large species of lizard found in the Indonesian islands.

Just like the Polar Bears, Komodo Dragons are not picky eaters, they can eat anything from birds ,insects, humans ,water buffalos. They are popularly known to dig up graves to eat dead bodies. They are very smart hunters and will wait until their prey approaches after which they will charge forward, rip out its throat, and wait while it bleeds out.

The only reason the kill count on human is low just like the polar bear is that this deadly creature only really need to eat once a month.

4)African Elephant
