US based Nigerian entrepreneur and activist, Amb Dion Osagie, advocated that politicians (especially the next governor of Edo state) -should be sworn in with traditionally in addition to the bible. The Benin indigene said this will reduce the rate of corruption because politicians fear tradition and take it seriously.

This has caused a heated debate online. See below;
