Report says atleast about 28,000 students of Osun State public secondary schools failed in the unified examinations to pick students, who will sit the next West African School Certificate Examination.

The development may however, cause a serious tension across schools in the state.

According to Punch, an official of the Ministry of Education disclosed in Osogbo on Sunday that, there was fear of possible outbreak of protests especially in some schools following the release of the result.

The source said about 7,000 students passed the examinations, which would also be used to select those whose WAEC fees would be paid by the state government.

He added that there was a mild protest in one of the secondary schools in Osogbo on Friday but security agents were immediately alerted and the protest was quelled.

The dude that said the questions given to them was of masters level standard, but when will people like you stop politicising issues you are not suppose to?. come to think of it 7000 students passed the same master's question of yours which implies that the ones that failed had know excuse for her failure, and you are expecting the government to keep paying and thereby wasting the country resources on unproductive projects. its high time we start setting standards in this country, that is another way we can move forward as a nation.
