AkinDS: I was careful not to discount professional experience for college football, that's why I advocated for her to be included in the provisional list so she can fight for a place in the team. I however think that she potentially offers something that most of her competitors doesn't and something the team needs a great deal of; CREATIVITY. Okobi isn't it for me, Halimatu and Christy are most times dealing with defensive duties they offer little going forward. Ajibade has been average at best each time she's deputised to play that role. Not saying Onyi is the answer obviously, but she is the closest to an answer I've seen in a while. Replicating this professionally remains to be seen, but I'm rooting for her. 2 Likes |

AkinDS: I do understand your own side of view. Peace Efih have been given some minutes enough to see what she has to offer, I would say the Peace Efih of the U17/U20 hasn’t lived up to the billing. Her Performance for sometime haven’t really hit that Efih I used to know… Going forward Onyi Echegini even as Collegiate look more like someone already playing Pro and the potential are clearly showing… 3 Likes 1 Share |

Truth is that Randy already knows 98% of the squad that he will pick for the World Cup. It’s probably only 2-3 spots that would be truly competitive 4 Likes 1 Share |

Deltamani: Realistically, the SF are good enough to nick draws vs Canada and Australia, and beat Ireland. Anything short of 4 points = elimination at the group stage 1 Like 1 Share |

Deltamani:.... Thats because he cant read a game in real time and fix it, so the game has to be over, then he goes home, probably speak with some of his friends and they advice on some solutions.. Anyone still expecting a miracle that we will make it out of the group, you are on your own... Me no put mind there o... Its all vibes from here... On a good day, we are suppose to make it out of the group ... But with NUGA coach, i think we will be asking for too much.. |

PDPGuy:... We should be getting a solid 5 points from this group.. However if we get 3 points we should thank God. 1 Like 1 Share |

With an inform Oshoala, Ajibade, Toni Payne, Esther Okoronkwo, Ucheibe, Halimatu and Chinandozie... We should be good for the knock out stage.. However, our coach can decide he wants to play everyone out of position... Lol... It is well.. I am also beginning to think that the NFF does not really want the ladies to do well, because, everyone knows where to start fixing the problem, start from the coach.. The talent is there in abundance.. 4 Likes 1 Share |

Deltamani: What do you think will be Toni Payne's best position for the super falcons? I really don't want her and Alozie to continue playing full back... I was thinking maybe Payne could slot in at AM..She's someone with a lot of pace and energy and decent dribbling skills, but I dunno about dictating play... so what's your view on that? 1 Like 1 Share |

isan: mostob: If that's the case, she should be deployed at AM...I will prefer her there to Okobi... Playing her and Alozie at fullback isn't only limiting their style but affecting the team.. Especially Alozie.. Her height puts her at a disadvantage against taller opponents..... 1 Like |

Our coach is technically not good enough , after years with the team he still doesn't his best 11 , he's all about defense , if waldrum could play Ajibade and Oshoala as center backs he will play them there that is how bad he is when it comes to team selection Danielnino00: 2 Likes 1 Share |

And you know for a fact that he doesn’t know who his best players are? Especially after the rash of injuries that has hit the team and new players coming on board? The bedrock of a solid team is its defense. It is extremely difficult to lose at match IF you have a strong defense. Nigeria is in a much better space now, defensively, than we were last year. A ton more quality options available to choose from. isan: |

The World Cup is not a stage for unrefined, crude players, when you have forged, refined proven players with finesse. Ajakaye, in her current state is certainly NOT ready for the 2023 WWC! oloriooko: |
