maidaboi: Happy for Esther. It was however strange to see Gift Monday played as LB. She didn't do badly but still strange to see. |

lovewins: Sometimes I think there is something wrong with the average African's mind. Imagine spending over 20 years playing at the highest levels and you never thought it wise to register for coaching courses and acquire some certifications. With some certifications, there's no way someone of Ebi's experience and reputation cannot secure a coaching job with a female team in Europe or the US and make good money. It is because of her lack of ambition and foresight that she has decided to make herself a sit-tight player and a destiny blocker for other young girls. The Falcons has become Onome's private cash cow. Shame on her. 4 Likes |

Kibbs: U have absolutely nothing to add apart from ridiculous insults. U said my post had sentiment written over it and I gave u the chance to point it out even 1 sentumental point but u can't because I spoke facts. So now u can question my character but u can't name 1 single sentimental point I made? Between Marta and Rapineo who is older U guys just talk out ur azz with zero facts. Meg is older than Marta and is still playing for the greatest team in women's football. Now explain that situation Mr Smart Guy. Only someone without common sense would get angry at my point. Retirement is on a individual basis, that is why u see Oparanozie retiring at 29 when all these other player are still going in their 30s. U can't tell nobody to retire. If they are not good enough stop inviting them. Onazi has still not retired from international football but nobody cares because he has not been invited. Don't come and be insulting a legend because she is being invited. U have no proof that she is making anybody select her but u want me to say it is right to talk bad about her because it is the flavour of the moment. 2 Likes 1 Share |

lovewins: As a professional writer, I am deeply ashamed by the number of schoolboy level grammatical errors contained in that simple one-paragraph letter. Is this how our NFF secretaries have been writing to our players' clubs, to FIFA and to other FAs? Is there anything these people can ever do right? Those Oyinbo people go don laugh us tire. Tufiakwa. This is what happens when tribal sentiments and godfatherism is used as a criteria for selecting staff rather than meritocracy. Shame on them. 4 Likes |

In a heartfelt message, Falcons star Abiodun couldn't help but express her gratitude to coach Randy Waldrum for his significant impact on her career. 🙌 "Coach Waldrum has played a huge part in my career despite the short time we've had together. He's not just a coach; he's a father, an advisor, a mentor. He's a man with grit and so many good attributes," she shared. "He has contributed positively to my life, and my game has improved tremendously. It's a work in progress for me, and I'm thankful to every coach I've had along the way. They've all played a role in shaping me into who I am today." Abiodun also extended her thanks to her mother for her unwavering support and prayers and to her friends. The journey to success is filled with many mentors and supporters, and Abiodun's story is no different. Let's continue to celebrate the positive influences in our lives!⚽

🚨Ana-Maria Crnogorčević has expressed that she didn't require the break given by Inka Grings and wished for more support from her coaches. It's believed that Crnogorčevic, along with Lia Wälti and Ramona Bachmann, raised concerns about Grings, and the absence from the call-up is directly related. Grings has faced accusations of not heeding her players' objections. The team had suggested the inclusion of Viola Calligaris, who was playing for Levante at the time and had strong connections with the players. This suggestion went unheard, and she was only subbed in when the team was 4-1 down. It's believed that the team's three key players, Wälti, Bachmann, and Crnogorčević, have expressed their concerns. However, Crnogorčević, being the most vocal and emotional, is reportedly facing consequences. This issue is not recent; there has been a long-standing discord between the team and coaching staff. Mutual trust and effective communication, which were present under previous coach Nils Nielsen, seem to be lacking.

Deltamani: Really liked Inka Grings as a Player and now manager. At the WC Her team played possession football with attacking transitions but if she can’t manage the dressing room, she should step aside cause manager's first job is to keep the dressing room happy |

lovewins:What's gonna happen to cost already incurred? Flight tickets etc? Or ae we gonna use the match window to play 2 friendlies, as i'm aware it was to be douber header games? Also nothing yet on NFF or falcons Twitter handle about this |
Re: Nigeria Female National Teams' Thread by lovewins: 7:17pm On Sep 19, 2023 |
ekehopp2: Per flight, I think they can always reschedule the flights. An organisation as big as the NFF should obviously have a travel agency they work with. That shouldn't be a problem. Hotels same thing. Booking a friendly also isn't feasible cause of the short notice. Also almost every female team has a game this window as WAFCON qualifiers an euro nations league games are holding. 2 Likes |

The just-concluded Women's World Cup brought Nigeria's women's football into the spotlight. It was a remarkable journey as the female Super Falcons showcased their talent and resilience on the world stage, inspiring a new generation of female footballers in Nigeria. I believe that this momentum should be leveraged to elevate women's football even further in our country. Perhaps football clinics could be organised to train young girls in football; I recall one such football training was held in May in Abeokuta by QNET in partnership with Manchester City to train young men in football. These are the initiatives that can help ignite the passion in youths to pursue their dreams. Hello, people. 1 Like |

BascoVanVeli: Onyinyechi Okeke have always been my favorite pick before Nnadozie back in the days especially because of her good Height… (My Love for Tall Goalies) As for Linda she look the path, Her Height, Physique and how she commands her Box just like Nadine Angerer of Germany who’s currently the Goalkeeper Coach of Portland Thorns in the NWSL… She just need to Bring her head down, focus, Work hard and be Dedicated as she’s already in the National Team set up.. |
