I did - and thanks for sharing the video. It actually reinforced my initial assessment of her, when I first saw her play years ago. Still slow in her thought process and decision making, especially off and on the ball, as her movements are almost non existent and she seemed to be MIA on quite a few occasions. Hardly ever came back to defend (see how the likes of Oshoala and Onumonu constantly do that). She cannot play on the high impact, non stop running team that Randy has built, as she looks like she doesn't have that kind of energy. I still would pass on her - and I suspect that might be the reason why she hasn't been on Randy's radar. She comes across as a low energy player. On another note, the person that impressed me in the video was actually Faith Ikidi - still quick and sharp and full of energy. On and off the ball movements were on point. Would definitely have preferred her to Mummy, who is way past her sell by date. Deltamani: |

AkinDS: Veteran Faith Ikidi have always been a World Class Defender till date just that Onome Ebi seems to have found favour more with the SuperFalcons.. One thing people should not forget is that Faith Ikidi was by Far a Key Player for the SuperFalcons back in the days than Onome Ebi whose relevance mainly started in 2010 Unlike Ikidi who was already a main stay in the SuperFalcons Starting line up from 2005/6 and her presence was highly noticeable. Donât also forget Ikidi and Onome joined the SuperFalcons same year in 2003 though Ikidi was Younger and they both went to the 2003 World Cup with Ikidi been the Youngest at 16yrs.. A Little Back Story when Christy George and Ulunma Jerome where our Center Back Pair during the 2006/7 to 2008 era and Onome alternative with Faith Ikidi on the Left Lilian Cole on the Right.. Ikidi was arguably the no.1 Defender in the team as the ball Playing from the back was mainly done through her with her excellent rapports and Defensive Skills.. I remembered also Prior to the 2011 FIFA Womenâs World Cup in Germany when Ikidi arrived Camp late but was included in the Final Squad and with the rise of Helen Ukaonu then Ikidi was moved to the Right Back Position.. From been a Left Back to Right Back and finally settling down at Center Back for over 7years now. I will definitely pick her ahead of Mama Onome right now as Ikidi still Competes at the top Level⌠Ikidi was already Playing in Europe as at 2004/5 |

AkinDS: Onome Ebi has lasted long enough in the SuperFalcons, though Faith Ikidi was a Starter and regular back in the days than her⌠As at 2004 Ikidi already owns the SuperFalcons Left Back no wonder she has been regarded as the Best Left Back to have Played for the SuperFalcons⌠2 Likes

Faith Ikidi remains Nigeria best Female Left Back till date. Her versatility helped her to play as a Left Back for the SuperFalcons from 2004 till 2010. Was moved to the Right Back position for the 2011 FIFA Womenâs World Cup when Helen Ukaonu burst into the scene till 2013 when Ngozi Ebere Came in 2014 and left after 2019 World Cup then Faith Ikidi moved back to the Left Back position in 2016 when Florence Omagbemi was Coach as she Left Ngozi Ebere on the bench all through.. before Thomas Dennerby came in and played her at Center Back when he was trying to Play 3 CBâs at the World Cup but her early injury at the World Cup made way for Chidinma Okeke⌠Faith Ikidi Playing against Germany No.7 Melanie Behringer and Almighty No.9 Birgit Prinz in 2008 Olympic Games and 2011 WWCUP 1 Like

carbonado: Sad one for her, She isnât having the game time anymore, might move out of Gotham FC next season as the NWSL currently have two new Clubs joining the League so players seeking game time might join those two new Clubs.. 1 Like |

lovewins: When I look at their Club forward list you would see that itâs very tough to get game time especially at Gotham where they have Lyn William,USA international whoâs a sure bet to start for them then the remaining spot.. At least the competition is tough⌠Going to the World Cup Kanu isnât inform till now. Hope they both find their rhythm back. At least we have a lot of options upfront for the SuperFalcons |
