Protesters shut NASS over non-payment of salaries About 3,000 legislative aides to Senators and members of the House of Representatives are currently laying siege at the National Assembly over the non- payment of their salaries and allowances. The aides according to the Punch, are accusing the lawmakers of owing them several months of entitlements.
