We are the last generation that saw the world without the Internet for some time! And, even when we didn't, initially we had to struggle with dial-ups, Hotmail and MS-DOS. Our younger nieces and nephews, on the other hand, can download a full movie in 30 minutes, play games with life-like graphics and have access to apps that solve just about every life problem from finding a cab to finding a date! It won’t be a surprise if they get totally weirded out, should you ever tell them what the tech scenario was like back in the good ol’ days.
Enjoy the ride!
1. We literally spent hours downloading songs and begged the dial-up Gods to shower us with the lightening speed of 64 Kbps!

Back then, My cd rack was this stacked, bought cds from a certain dude at area 1 shopping center, in abj. The cd jacket always had a certain dude's picture at the back. Dj Kaydee or something(cant recollect)... still have dem cds intact and safely arranged in my wardrobe at home.... oh sweet memories smiley

Chai I no go 4get "processing data" Wey my lovely nokia 6230 dy show den when browsing....
And stressful infrared port Wey u must join ur port with another phone port hold am 4 hours just 2 collect 10mb file. Ur hand go tell u, and if u mistakely shake ur hand nd d phone disconnect after waiting 4 hours, Omo na die be dat.....

i thank God i rocked both generations. I can remember opening our video cassette player and cleaning it with handkerchief and kerosene so to make it clear...... cheesy cheesy

That time, when my dad would be doing ''shakara'' anytime I ask him, to use this nokia (his) to play the snake game.



Also, we had a special device we used to backward or forward the video cassette. We'd have to put it in to check if it was the right place we ''whined'' it to.
