Impressively one of the contestants happened to be from the IDP camps in Abuja. She was sponsored by Amb. Rachel Bakam. Although she didn’t win in the top five, but she was groomed and performed very well at the grand finale. The essence was to show love and support to the people living at the IDP camps and to extend a hand of fellowship. The Project Director, Amb. Hillary Emoh said in an interview that one of the core objectives of the Project is to draw more intention to the very very poor living standards of the people in the IDP camps. He said that the Queen’s Pet Project will be centered more on how to alleviate the living condition of the people at the IDP camps and to also encourage the youths to return back to school with a project term ‘‘Help me Get Back to School’’ initiative.
