I asked my wife to check out a place at Cross River, at Calabar precisely 8 miles, but we were duped and given land belonging to River Basin Authority. I think the lawyer we used wasnt doing his job and was just interested in money. Now they havent got money to refund to me and asked us to bring more funds to add to what I already paid so we can be given new land. I have ignored that project and I am still determined to get my resort at Akwa Ibom/Cross River axis. I will have to either ask the government of any of the 2 States to allocate land for tourism project for me or simply buy from the locals as far as they have massive land to sell out. So, I havent had anyone I could say is reliable to hunt the land for me, but to make it easy not to be duped. I rented an apartment for my little brother at Uyo so he can be close to the locals and I believe we can locate a great land for the project next year.
