Skeleton flowers are naturally white in colour and they turn transparent when wet. Scientifically they are known as “Diphelleia grayi” and can be found in only three parts of the world appearing on colder wooded mountainsides in regions of Japan, China and the Appalachian mountains in the United States of America.

Skeleton flowers are easily recognizable by their leaves which resemble little umbrellas. However, when they become see through, they usually don’t stay that way forever because when the moisture dries from them, they transform back to their original white colors.
