AS MUCH AS I DISLIKE MR ALEX, I COMPLETELY AGREE WITH HIM ON DIS ISSUE. BUT TRUST NEEDS 2 START FROM D TOP. HOW MANY IGBO LEADERS TRULY CARE ABOUT IGBO INTERESTS, VIRTUALLY NONE. IT'S ALL ABOUT PERSONAL INTEREST. WEN IGBOS WERE BEING SLAUGHTERED IN D NORTH, HOW IGBO LEADERS HAD D NERVE 2 DEMAND 4 JUSTICE. D ONLY IGBO LEADER DAT UNITED D IGBOS N IS READY 2 GIVE UP HIS 4 IGBO PPLE IS NNAMDI KANU. |

Kachidox: Such Trust is not possible. The Igbo operate at the level of Umunna. They do not marry from their village and their daughters cannot inherit their family land.In short they are the most clannish people in Nigeria. They do not trust people from other clans. Even Ekwueme that is pontificating must know about the condescending attitude of Anambra people. It is in their DNA to bee clannish and Tribal 2 Likes |

Looking at it he's not wrong. I've noticed this before. Divided and yet calling for a division out of Nigeria. How would they govern themselves? In all reality, it's a Nigerian thing now. We're losing our communism ideals and playing every man for himself and family. Our unbecoming individualistic approach to life will not take us far. We need a reform, not for ourselves. But for the next generation 1 Like |

God made no higher tribe when he made his world, he gave every man the measure of wisdom and ability. Most tribes chose to make this God giving ability non functional, while some by the reason of use and exercise made their tribes higher than the reason The Caucasians(whites) has for ages proven to be a higher race, the ibos on the other hand followed suit. The IBO race has an undisputed record as the most industrious people in Africa and beyond. little wonder most people label them "thieves, drug dealers, ritualist etc, cos they failed to make use of their own Gods gift(reasoning). if you take away every credit from an IBO man,you cant take away the fact that that they are inter prizing and hard working. A popular adage says"nwoke na ibe ya ha bu na onu." 3 Likes |

It is a fact of Igbo culture and history that if a man did not have money to marry his brother would pay for his marriage and he would become his slave . I invite Igbos to deny this 1 Like |

What is a really wrong in saying the white man is superior to an Igbo man or generally put "Black man". You need to see the bigger picture hear. The main problem is Lack if trust among the south eastern. You will see an Igbo man calling a south south man names and you will go back and start calling for Biafra. You need to see yourself as one both south south and south east before the nation can take you serious. If you are from Delta, some will call you brother others will call you names- Delta Igbo- why? Igbo's need to sit down and put more effort in self dignity than putting money first. Let and elderly man have a say in the public gathering g despite he is poor but regarded due to his word wisdom. Everything should not depend on money. Together (South South and South East) we are stronger. I believe we can get there when we have strong leaders to lead us forward without selling our rights. And our vote from such region will definitely count. Better this is rectified before creation of Biafra to rebuff what is happening in South Sudan now. We can do this even from our schools, Churches, meeting, social gathering etc , let's preach oneness now. This should be our first fight before Biafra can be yield positive result. Igbo's enviness for each other along their business line is worst than that of 2 wives under the same roof. And in all honesty, they possess great zealousness in whatsoever business they choose and they always thrive. You don't need to preach to an Ibo man that "tough time never last, but tough people do"....because they are tough already. More than 80% of Ibo that I have meet were/are so determine. They don't give up easily. I admire their strength and focus. Long live my Igbo brothers. 2 Likes 2 Shares |
